Well the week has come to an end and we can all say TGIF! We had a very busy, but very exciting week filled with new experiences and new friends.
I had the opportunity to be on The Cat & Nat Show Live on Facebook Tuesday night to talk about life with 4 kids and some of my mom hacks and Wednesday Dan and I, along with Emily and the triplets sat down with Mark Oldershaw and his wife Annamay Pierse to talk about first time parent experiences. Dan also had the chance to participate in his first Twitter party with @TheLifeofDad, which he was super excited about and talking about all week long.
I had such a great time on The Cat & Nat show and both Catherine and Natalie were so lovely and welcoming. It was also my first time doing something like that by myself, so I was a little nervous, but they made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Catherine and Natalie are best friends and have an amazing friendship. They are both so energetic and passionate about what they do and it is evident through their show. Their infectious and humorous personalities are perfect for everything they take on, which keeps their fan base growing!
On top of going by myself, I had to leave Emily and the triplets behind. Although I did think about them the whole night and missed them like crazy, it was nice to get out and do something for me. I learned so much just from talking to other moms and was introduced to a whole new world of blogging. I am excited for new possibilities and opportunities and even more excited for the new friends made!
Dan and I enjoyed our time getting to know Mark Oldershaw and Annamay Pierse. We were so lucky to have the privilege of interviewing two great Canadian Olympic athletes and fellow Pampers Parents and meeting their adorable little girl Josephine. Mark and Annamay are so down-to-earth and just truly genuinely nice individuals. They were so kind to let us into their home for the interview and Emily, Jackson, Olivia and Levi loved meeting their new friend Josephine. Mark will be competing in the 2016 Olympics in Rio coming up and he has gained some new super fans. The Baby Gang will be cheering him on and wishing him all the luck to bring home the gold medal!
Dan experienced his first Twitter party on Wednesday night and thought it was the coolest thing ever. He had to interact with all the other participants, by re-tweeting and tweeting everything related to Father’s Day. It was challenging at time when trying to stay caught up with all the tweets and to make sure he could follow along with any conversations, but it didn’t stop his fun. Dan said after that he cannot wait to have another Twitter party!
These great opportunities would not have been possible without Pampers and we are so thankful to have been able to partner with them. We have enjoyed working Pampers and it has been awesome to connect with other Pampers Parents. We are looking forward to more great experiences with Pampers and all of our new friends we have made this week. It was certainly busy, but we loved every minute of it!
Thank you again to everyone and thank you for all of your support =D
